Ruby Turner
Ruby Turner has become one of the most recognizable voices in the musical world surrounding Jools Holland and His Rhythm & Blues Orchestra.
Her voice carries the power of R&B, soul and gospel-rooted music, and her long association with Jools Holland has placed her at the center of recordings, television performances, Hootenanny appearances and live orchestra shows.
Honky Tonk Music Association’s 2026 recognition of Ruby Turner stands on its own.
Ruby Turner’s individual award is displayed here because she is the featured artist in this performance. It remains her personal HTMA recognition and is not counted as an orchestra award.
