OFFICIAL PERFORMANCE PRESENTATION
Country music singer Bryangela Dusti Roads presents her performance of:
“Queen of Country” (BMI)
Written by Angela R. Anderson (BMI)
For decades, the dream of traditional storytelling music has lived quietly inside the hearts of artists and fans who believed music was once more than algorithms, controversy, and commercial noise.
That dream once belonged to legendary honky tonk pioneer Cowboy Copas, whose legacy and emotional connection to traditional country storytelling helped inspire generations of artists who believed music should still carry heart, memory, family, struggle, faith, and humanity.
Now, through Honky Tonk Music Association, that dream continues forward in a new generation through a worldwide search for the next 2026 Queen of Honky Tonk Music.
The Silver Dollar Award was created in honorary tribute to legendary international country music artist Philomena Begley, whose unforgettable performance of “Queen of the Silver Dollar” helped inspire the spirit behind this historic event.
Honky Tonk Music Association only recently became aware of Philomena Begley’s remarkable international contribution to music history, and the organization believes now is the time to shine a spotlight not only on established artists, but also on gifted voices around the world who may never have been given a true opportunity to be heard.
Country music singer and HTMA Founder Bryangela Dusti Roads will crown a new 2026 Queen of Honky Tonk Music through the Silver Dollar Award Competition as part of the 2026 Royal Inaugural Season of Honky Tonk Music Association.
This is not a nomination process.
This is the official competition recognized by Honky Tonk Music Association for honorary crown consideration connected to the title of:
2026 Queen of Honky Tonk Music
Artists from anywhere in the world may participate by submitting an a cappella performance of:
Contestants may enter only one genre category, and one honorary crown recognition may be awarded within approved HTMA genres. The overall featured winner may be recognized as the new 2026 Queen of Honky Tonk Music.
Unlike television competitions built around humiliation, elimination drama, and artist conflict, Honky Tonk Music Association created this event to celebrate authenticity, emotional storytelling, and the heart of music itself.
Selected finalists and honorary crown recipients may be invited to participate in the official HTMA Grand Opening Celebration and related media presentations connected to the inaugural season of Honky Tonk Music Association.
