This historic inaugural event will be private, invitation-only and confidential. The general public is not invited. Exact ceremony times, venue information, credentials, access procedures, production schedules and security arrangements will not be publicly released.
Approved participants will receive the event information applicable to them directly from Honky Tonk Music Association after verification.
If your name is not on the official verified HTMA attendance list, access will be denied regardless of award status, professional title, invitation, ticket purchase or knowledge of the confidential venue location.

The 2026 Royal Inaugural Awards Ceremony is not simply one awards night. It is a historic seven-night private industry celebration bringing together the inaugural Honky Tonk Music Association class for the very first time.
There Will Never Be Another Inaugural Class.
There will only be one first gathering of the Honky Tonk Music Association inaugural class — one first Royal Blue Carpet, one first week of Royal Award presentations, one first Royal Dinner and one first Royal Ball.
Years from now there may be other HTMA ceremonies, winners and celebrations, but there will never be another 2026 Royal Inaugural Awards Ceremony.
A Benefit of Your 2026 HTMA Recognition
Every official 2026 HTMA Award Winner and Nominee receives one complimentary recipient/nominee admission to attend their applicable Royal Award presentation as part of their 2026 HTMA recognition.
You do not purchase your own admission to your applicable Royal Award presentation.
Advance registration and verification are still required. Complimentary admission is personal to the recognized winner or nominee, is non-transferable, and does not by itself authorize admission for additional guests or unrestricted access to every event during the seven-night inaugural celebration.
Information regarding the Royal Dinner, Royal Ball and other inaugural-week activities will be provided to verified participants according to their applicable participation and credential arrangements.
Production, performances, credentials, security and participation arrangements are now being finalized.
If you intend to participate in person, perform, bring security, participate remotely or make other approved arrangements, please complete the appropriate process as soon as possible.

What Do You Need To Do?
Your 2026 HTMA Recognition — Physical Award & Digital Association Status
Official 2026 HTMA winners, nominees and recognized artists receive physical HTMA recognition. This is not only a website badge or online announcement. Applicable recipients will receive an official HTMA trophy or other presentation recognition appropriate to the award or status received.
In addition, recognized artists receive a digital HTMA association listing identifying their official 2026 status as a winner, nominee, honoree or recognized artist. That digital record becomes part of the continuing Honky Tonk Music Association awards and artist registry.
No award will be mailed or released for corporate-headquarters pickup before the 2026 Royal Inaugural Awards Ceremony has concluded.
Royal Status & the Horizon Path
Royal status represents the highest formal award status within Honky Tonk Music Association.
At the same time, the Horizon Award winners are central to the future direction of HTMA. Horizon recognition is designed to lead somewhere. As careers, performances and accomplishments grow, Horizon recipients may move forward into new categories and levels of recognition in future award seasons.
HTMA honors the artists who built the road, recognizes the artists carrying music today, and supports the Horizon winners who may help define what comes next.

A Message to Our Horizon Award Winners
HTMA supports its Horizon winners because people need the opportunity to see and hear why these artists were recognized. Approved Horizon winner performances presented through the Royal Inaugural Awards program are paid performances.
Performance material is selected and assigned by Honky Tonk Music Association. Participating Horizon winners may be assigned an original selection, material from the Affinity catalog, or other HTMA-selected program material. Artists do not independently select the ceremony repertoire. Specific repertoire, presentation assignments, production concepts and ceremony segments are confidential and are provided only to approved participating artists or their authorized representatives.
When you become a Horizon Award winner, you become part of something larger than one award or one moment. You are now part of the Honky Tonk Music Association music family and part of a continuing legacy in music.
Support other artists. Watch what your fellow Horizon winners are doing. Watch what established artists are doing. Study their paths, learn from their work, and apply what helps you to your own music without losing who you are.
Some artists will move faster than others. Your road does not have to look like somebody else’s road.
You may move slower than someone else — just don’t stop moving.

Support Beyond the Award
Honky Tonk Music Association encourages artists to support other artists. Winners, nominees and recognized artists are all part of the same music family.
Where appropriate and available, HTMA may support recognized artists by purchasing officially released music, including albums and CDs, and by helping direct interested fans toward authorized places where an artist’s music may be purchased or discovered.
HTMA often receives requests from listeners asking where they can find music from recognized artists, including the Band of the Year and Entertainer of the Year. When possible, HTMA will help connect audiences with official artist, label or authorized retail sources.
Purchasing, promotional support and distribution assistance are subject to availability, artist participation, applicable rights and individual HTMA program decisions and are not a guaranteed purchase commitment.
Authorized Artist Representatives
A manager, agent, publicist, record-label or company representative, attorney, authorized family/personal representative or other authorized representative may submit on behalf of an official artist.
The representative may use the representative’s own business contact information. HTMA does not require the artist’s private home address, personal telephone number or personal email address simply because a representative is handling the submission.
The representative must select the artist from the official HTMA roster and confirm that they are authorized to submit on behalf of that artist.
Attendance Request
Winners are not required to attend. Anyone who does plan to attend must be registered and verified by HTMA. Individual attendance is confidential and HTMA will not publicly confirm the names of attendees.

Artist Performance Request
Official 2026 HTMA artists may request performance participation. Artists who are not on the official HTMA roster may request performance consideration through the separate consideration choice in this form. An unlisted-artist request does not create winner, nominee, honoree or approved-attendee status.
All performance requests are subject to schedule, venue, technical and production requirements, available space and final HTMA approval. HTMA selects and assigns performance material.

Security Registration
Every security professional must be individually registered and verified. HTMA must know who the security professional represents and the principal attendee must already have an HTMA attendance confirmation number.
A separate ticket, credential or admission purchase may be required for security personnel depending on the night, capacity and access classification. Purchasing a ticket does not override verification.

Promotional Materials & Remote Participation
Official 2026 winners, nominees and recognized artists may request promotional-material or remote-participation access through Sunday, October 4, 2026 at 11:59 PM Central Time. An authorized artist representative may make the request on the artist’s behalf using the representative’s own business contact information.
Remote acceptance messages, ceremony greetings, messages to fans and approved remote performances will also be coordinated through the verification package. Remote artist participation videos must be supplied by a working YouTube link. Authorized promotional, broadcaster, label, publicity and rights-cleared materials may be submitted through the secure verified-material process provided by HTMA.

Post-Ceremony Award Delivery
HTMA wants every official recipient to know how the physical recognition will reach them. Winners and nominees are not required to attend in person in order to receive their applicable award recognition.
You may notify HTMA now of your preferred post-ceremony arrangement. Mailing and headquarters pickup begin only after the ceremony has concluded and HTMA announces the official distribution date.
An authorized representative may coordinate delivery. A shipping address may be a management office, agency, company or other authorized delivery location. The artist’s personal home address is not required.

Confidential Event Information
HTMA will not publicly release or confirm individual attendance, exact ceremony times, the confidential venue location, credentials, entrance/check-in procedures, private production schedules, security arrangements or restricted access information.
Approved attendees and participants will receive only the scheduling and access information relevant to their authorized participation.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I have to attend to keep my award?
No. Attendance is not required to keep your award, nomination, recognition or official digital HTMA status.
If I am a winner, do I still have to register to attend?
Yes. Award status does not automatically place anyone on the verified attendance list.
What happens if my name is not on the verified attendance list?
Access will be denied. There are no walk-in or door exceptions.
What if someone discovers the confidential venue location?
Knowledge of the location does not authorize access. Only verified and approved individuals on the official HTMA attendance list will be admitted.
Can an authorized representative submit for an artist?
Yes. The representative may use their own business contact information and select the artist from the official HTMA roster. The artist’s private personal contact information is not required simply because a representative is handling the submission.
Can an artist who is not on the official HTMA roster request to perform?
Yes, through the separate performance-consideration choice. That request does not give the artist winner, nominee, honoree or approved-attendee status.
Are Horizon Award winner performances paid?
Approved 2026 HTMA Horizon Award winner performances presented through the Royal Inaugural Awards program are paid performances. HTMA selects and assigns the performance material.
Can I choose any song I want to perform?
No. Ceremony repertoire and performance assignments are selected by HTMA and provided directly to approved participating artists or their authorized representatives.
Can I participate remotely if I cannot attend?
Yes. After verification, HTMA will provide the submission instructions in the artist or representative verification package. Remote acceptance messages, ceremony greetings, fan messages and approved remote performances must be supplied by a working YouTube link.
How do I send promotional materials to HTMA?
Request promotional-material access through this page. After verification, HTMA will send the Verified Participant ID and secure portal activation instructions in the verification package. Authorized promotional materials are submitted only after secure portal login.
Will HTMA announce who is attending?
No. Individual attendance is confidential.
When will the exact ceremony times and venue be released?
The 2026 Royal Inaugural Awards Ceremony is scheduled for October 21–27, 2026. Exact ceremony times, venue and access details are not being released publicly. Approved participants receive the authorized information applicable to them after verification.
Can security attend?
